Political rivals share a platform

Putting aside their fierce political rivalry, TDP leader Balakrishna and Kalyan Ram and Congress leaders Purandareshwari and her hubby Daggupati Venkateswar Rao shared the same dais.
No they were not re-uniting to revive the past glory of Telugu Desam, rather they were there to launch the audio of the film Venkatadri starring Tarakaratna, scion of Nandamuri family.
People who were expecting some fireworks felt disappointed. Both the rivals stuck to the occasion, since Balakrishna reminded them of the significance of 'good music' in films, while his sister and central minister Purandareshwari described her father late NTR as the 'pride' of Telugu cinema. Coming to the film, two pretty girls Mandeep Takkar and Sneha Takkar will be playing the lover girls.
"It is specifically designed for the masses," says director Samudra. It is high time, Tarakaratna makes a comeback.
