Salman Khan will soon be marching his way to base camp as he shoots for
Kabir Khan's war-drama '
Tubelight
' in Manali. The actor, who has been spotted around the mountainous state shooting his scenes, will now strap on his boot and don the uniform as he and the crew prep for their war sequences. Photos of barracks and watch towers erected on the sets have made their way online.
Kabir Khan, who is known to have an eye for detailing, has brought in the cannons, trucks, jeeps, barrels, camouflage nets and guns, to make the sets look as real as possible. The film has been set in the backdrop of the Indo-China war of 1962. Salman will be seen playing a 'slow learner' of sorts who joins the
army.
A group of actors dressed in army attire, much like that of the film's first look teaser poster, were also spotted on the sets. 'Tubelight' also stars Chinese actress Zhu Zhu, who will reportedly be playing Salman's love interest. The film hits theatres on Eid 2017.
