Pankaj Kapur's new innings

Pankaj Kapur, best known for his acting skills — on film and television — is ready for Mausam, his directorial debut.
The actor, a part of the Indian film industry for over two decades now, made his acting debut with Shyam Benegal’s film Arohan (1982). Hits like Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, Mandi, Maqbool and Halla Bol followed. Then there’s his brilliant comic turn for TV in Office Office.Kapur firmly believes Mausam was specifically conceived for son, actor Shahid Kapoor.
Pankaj has been working on scripts for a very long time and finally chose Mausam to be his directorial debut. Pankaj knows the music of the film is breaking the chartbusters and is excited and anticipating the film’s release. Eros International and Vistaar Religare Film Fund present Mausam produced by Sunil Lulla and Sheetal Vinod Talwar. The film releases on September 23.
