Orry Calls CBSE Paper Feature His ‘Peak Fame’: Bigger Than Ananya Panday on a Phuljhari Packet
In a crossover no one saw coming, socialite and internet personality Orry has landed a spot where few influencers do — a CBSE board History examination paper. The inclusion, which reportedly features a QR code directing students to Orry, has sparked both amusement and curiosity online.
Speaking to us, Orry recalls the moment he first heard about it. “Oh my God, I was extremely shocked when people started tagging me and sharing it on their stories. I genuinely thought it was some prank. I even asked my assistant, ‘Did we pay for this?’ I had no clue what was going on," he tells us.
It wasn’t until he verified it himself that the reality sank in. “Students can take the question paper home, and there’s a QR code on it. When you scan it, it leads to me. That’s when I realised — this is actually real," he adds.
For someone who has built a persona around being omnipresent in Bollywood’s inner circles — often seen alongside the likes of Janhvi Kapoor, Nysa Devgan and Ananya Panday — Orry’s cultural currency has largely thrived on visibility, relatability and a distinct self-aware humour. True to that tone, he frames this moment as a milestone. “This is bigger than Ananya Panday being on a phuljhari packet,” he says with a laugh. “People are saying I’ve gone from being just a pop culture icon to a youth icon. This is peak fame."
Calling it the “peak” of his fame so far, he adds, “Being on a national, pan-India examination paper — that is influence, that is reach. I am now officially a part of Indian history… literally and metaphorically.”
