Nawazuddin Siddiqui is set for a triple glory at Cannes!

It has been widely reported that Nawazuddin Siddiqui is set for a double glory at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival this year. But it has now emerged that the actor can well say, three cheers! Apart from Monsoon Shootout and Bombay Talkies, his Dabba or Lunch Box too is part of the Critics' Week at the Cannes.
The actor, who received the news on Monday evening, is elated."I knew one of my films would make it to the Cannes this year, but had no idea that it would be much more than that." Last year too, it was a similar feat for the talented actor as his Miss Lovely and the two-part Gangs of Wasseypur were part of the festival. "In fact, during an interaction with the French media after the screening of Miss Lovely, the journos asked me, 'We've heard the actor in GOW was superb'. They had no idea that it was me."
But unlike last year, when the actor took time to adapt to the razzmatazz, this year Nawaz is looking forward to mingling with international actors and directors. "I feel blessed. There's a lot to look forward to," he says. Nawaz is perhaps the first Indian actor, whose three films have made to Cannes in a year and five films in two years.
