Murli Sharma finally shares the same frame with Nana Patekar

It has taken Murli Sharma more than a decade to realise his dream of sharing the same frame with Nana Patekar. He is playing the confidante of the seasoned actor in Praksh Raj's '

'. An excited Murli says, 'Although we had worked together in 'Apaharan', I did not have any scene with him. I had been offered other films with Nana bhai, including 'Ab Tak Chappan', but nothing materialised. So, when Prakash anna offered me a role in his film, I just lapped it up. To play Nana bhai's best friend on screen is so enriching.'


Interestingly, the film revolves around two couples and lots of food, and Murli calls himself a 'demented foodie'. He explains, 'I'll leave everything to eat something tasty. I was probably the only one to have found the best vada pav in London.'

The actor who also cooks at home, calls working on this film a gastronomic experience. 'Even though I love food, papaya has never appealed to me. But Nana bhai would always give us soaked badam and papaya. I got so used to it that I texted him after our schedule, saying I missed the papaya he fed me,' he concludes.
