Shriya Saran's last Hindi release, 'Drishyam,' in which she played Ajay Devgn's wife, was a remake of a Malayalam film by the same name.
Call it a coincidence, but her next, 'Tadka,' too is based on a Malayalam film, 'Salt N' Pepper,' which Prakash Raj remade in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
Interestingly, like 'Drishyam,' 'Tadka' too will be extensively shot in Goa. Revolving around four people and how their love of food brings them together, it also features Nana Patekar and Taapsee Pannu.
Prakash Raj, who makes his directorial debut in Bollywood with this film, says, 'The look test is under way and we'll start shooting by the end of this month.'
