Tara Sharma, Actor
My mother has taught me how to live life and just one day is not enough to express love and gratitude to a mom. As a mother one has to learn to take each day as it comes. Life has changed after motherhood and I am very happy with the beautiful change.

I am enjoying this phase. My son has taught me to be selfless, to laugh and everything and not to take things seriously and also time management.
Mini Mathur, Tv Host
I believe everyday is Mother’s Day which means there would be no more any type of days if mothers did not do what they do. But yeah, I get the cutest cards given to me by my son with the sweetest things written on it like, ‘You’re the best mamma I ever got’!
My kids have taught me to clean someone else’s bum, to make excellent cheesy macaroni, juggle a phone call and change a diaper simultaneously, smile when you actually feel like hitting, love someone unconditionally, that life just gets better and better everyday and that being a mother is your one true achievement that nobody can question.I spent my childhood in Delhi; it was very secure, happy and busy. My mom, who was a maths teacher, was with us through everything — fevers, joys and tantrums. And now that I’m a mom, I appreciate the tough choice she made to give up her career for her children. Even though I’m a working mother, I try to give the same comforting presence to my kids. My mother has inspired me to be a better person.

Neepabithi Ghosh, Singer
What I’m today is because of my mother. Maa never forced to do anything which I didn’t want to. Rather she insisted that I should pursue what I want to. Now being a mother myself, I hope I can also teach the same to my son. Maa taught me to live and let live and never be judgmental in life. She taught me to be positive and always see the glass half filled rather than saying it’s half empty. I have also learnt from maa how to adjust to trying situations. She injected in me that happiness is a state of mind, so one has to know how to be happy irrespective of the surroundings.
Priti Patel, Danseuse
I worship my mother. She has injected values in me, which I still try to follow. She is the one who taught me to be a good human being. That’s what matters in life. We grew up in a joint family and I have seen how she used to deal with each member of the family. I learnt from her that being assertive doesn’t mean you are rude. She also taught me to be honest in every aspect of life, be it in my professional or personal relationships.
