Now, excitement is building again as actor-filmmaker Kunal Khemu confirmed that a sequel is currently being developed at the writing stage. Following his well-received directorial debut in 2024, he is preparing to revisit the film’s offbeat comedic universe.According to News18, Kunal recently finished another schedule of ‘Golmaal 5’ with Ajay Devgn, Tusshar Kapoor and the rest of the cast. He is now reportedly working on the script for ‘Madgaon Express 2’. Early updates suggest the sequel could reunite the original trio of Pratik Gandhi, Divyenndu and Avinash Tiwary with the story expected to take on a livelier and more entertaining tone this time around.Interestingly, during promotions for his recent OTT release, Divyenndu also dropped a subtle hint about the sequel. While speaking to Variety India, the actor revealed that “KK” was already developing the script for the second instalment.‘Madgaon Express’ proved to be a significant milestone in Kunal Khemu’s career.
