After tying the knot according to Konkani traditions, the couple took their wedding vows today in a traditional Sindhi Anand Karaj ceremony at Villa Del Balbianello, Italy. Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding festivities started with Phool Muddi ceremony which was followed by an engagement ceremony. The couple also hosted a formal dinner after exchanging rings. The Mehendi and sangeet ceremony took place on November 13. On day 2, Ranveer and Deepika tied the knot according to Sindhi rituals and later released the official pictures from their wedding to the joy of millions of fans.

People seeking assistance can reach the police department (100), fire and rescue services personnel (101), emergency services (108), electricity department (1912), transport department (1073) and coast guard (1554).
People can also call state emergency operation centre (0413 223407), local administration department (0413 2336469), Puducherry municipality (0413 2227518) and Oulgaret municipality (0413 2200382) for assistance.

The Madurai division of Southern Railway has announced full and partial cancellation of eight trains each from and to Rameswaram as a precaution in view of Cyclone Gaja.
The fully cancelled trains are: no. 56723/56724, 56721/56722 and 56725/56726 Madurai – Rameswaram – Madurai passengers on November 15 and 16 and train no. 56829/56830 Trichy – Rameswaram – Trichy passengers on November 15.
