Life under Quarantine with Alia Bhatt: From showcasing her baking skills to indulging in virtual workouts, here’s what’s keeping the actress busy

This week we have Alia Bhatt on our list who is currently under quarantine with her sister Shaheen Bhatt. The actress is very active on social media and she has been giving her fans a sneak-peek into her routine through daily posts. She started a new series on social media - 'stay home and...''. She shares pictures on social media and gives cues to her fans on how to spend time at home.

The actress has been working out at home during the lockdown. A few days back, she shared a gorgeous workout selfie of herself, saying that she is relying on "those endorphins" to keep her spirit up during the ongoing lockdown. Alia has been participating in virtual workouts. She shared a photograph of herself in athleisure on Instagram.

Alia Bhatt has been sharing pictures of the books that she is reading during the quarantine period. She is reading the book on musician Nitin Sawhney. With her post, the actress is urging her fans to finish the book they have been wanting to for a long time. On World book day, Alia shared a picture of the book ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’. She wrote, “I’ve made a new friend �� #worldbookday #currentlyreading”.

The quarantine has given Alia a chance to spend more time with her furry friends. The actress went on clicking pictures of her dogs and cat showed proof of her photography skills on Instagram. She shared pictures of two pugs relaxing on the grass. She also shared one solo image of one of her dogs and another of her cat. Pointing out the mood of her cat in quarantine, Alia wrote, “Look at that face! #lovethypet.”

Alia Bhatt has taken it to the kitchen to show off their talents. Looks like, baking has come up to be her new favourite hobby. Shaheen and Alia baked Banana bread and a delicious cake. She took to her Instagram handle to share the final result. The post was captioned as “Stayed home & ...baked a little with the sister @shaheenb made the real chocolate cake & I made the grain-free paleo banana bread #learnt something new ".

Amid lockdown, Alia has taken to an online creative writing course. She posted a picture in which she is seen penning notes. The book The Craft of Plot with Brando Skyhorse is open on her laptop." Stay home and learn something new," Alia captioned the image. In an interaction, Alia revealed that she is dedicating time to reading, and trying to stay busy mentally. It was her father, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, who encouraged her to try creative writing.
