Khalli Balli actress Ekta Jain: True happiness is when it’s shared
Khalli Balli actress Ekta Jain marked her birthday not with a party, but with a heartwarming act of kindness. She visited the Gorai-3 area, distributing notebooks, stationery, and sanitary pads to children and women, promoting education and menstrual health awareness.
Known for her roles in TV shows like Shagun and Gustakh Dil and films like Shatranj and Tauba Tauba, Ekta has long been committed to social causes. “True happiness is when it’s shared,” she said, emphasizing the joy in giving back.
The actress, who was also recently spotted doing yoga with veteran actor Dharmendra, on International Day of Yoga, said, "Dharmendra sir mein bahut energy hai. He truly proves that age is just a number.” She also highlighted how yoga can play a key role in helping today’s generation maintain both physical health and mental balance."
In an earlier interview with BT, Ekta shared how she is hoping to do meaty roles in films. She said, "With OTT platforms, there are many opportunities for actors, who are cast in supporting roles. I feel it is a very good time for actors like us. There is a lot of competition and actors are getting meaty roles across mediums. I am enjoying this phase where we are able to choose interesting roles." Ekta, who has been part of TV shows like Naina, Inspector Vijay, Kahin Diya Jale and films Taal and Trahimaan, added, "In the past few years, I have got a lot of time to learn new skills, and in addition to acting, I also learnt many things on social media. I shot for an Indo-Chinese film, recently and am looking forward to its release soon."
