Kartik Aaryan shoots action scenes for ‘Naagzilla’ in Delhi’s India Gate; videos go viral
Kartik Aaryan is currently in New Delhi filming his upcoming movie 'Naagzilla', and the shoot has already become a major talking point online. Several videos from different locations across the city are going viral, giving fans a sneak peek into the ambitious project. Now, a clip from India Gate is also making the rounds on social media.

Kartik Aryan spotted shooting at India Gate after metro sequence

After being seen filming at Laxmi Nagar metro station earlier, Kartik was later spotted near India Gate. According to HT reports, he was shooting an action-packed sequence at the iconic location. As soon as onlookers noticed the cameras and film crew, crowds quickly gathered, with many people capturing the moment on their phones.

The Delhi schedule follows the completion of the Mumbai portion of the film. The large-scale outdoor shoot hints that Naagzilla will feature visually dynamic sequences and a grand cinematic canvas.

A rare male-led Ichadhari Naag story

What makes Naagzilla stand out is its unusual concept. Kartik Aaryan is reportedly playing an Ichadhari Naag — a shape-shifting serpent with supernatural powers. While snake-based stories have been popular in Indian entertainment, they have rarely been explored on the big screen with a male protagonist at the centre.
Sharing the motion poster in November, Kartik Aaryan wrote, “Insanon wali picturein toh bahut dekh li, ab dekho naagon wali pichchar! Naagzilla - Naag lok ka pehla kaand. Funnn phailaane aa raha hai (The first chapter of Naag Lok. Coming to spread the hood) Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand. Naag Panchami par aapke nazdeeki Sssssinemas mein (on Nag Panchami at your nearest theatres) 14 August 2026 ko.”The film is directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and is currently slated for release on August 14, 2026. Despite rumours about delays, no official change has been announced.

On the work front

Apart from 'Naagzilla', Kartik has multiple projects in the pipeline. He will also appear in Anurag Basu’s upcoming film alongside Sreeleela, which is expected to hit theatres later this year.
