Kartik Aaryan continues with Karan Johar’s talent agency despite the ‘Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’ setback- Report
Kartik Aaryan has set the record straight regarding circulating breakup rumors, confirming his solid partnership with Karan Johar's Dharma Collab Artists Agency. Despite the recent film falling short at the box office, Aaryan's connection to DCAA is unshaken, with thrilling projects on the horizon.
Speculation around Kartik Aaryan’s professional association with Karan Johar-backed Dharma Collab Artists Agency (DCAA) has now been put to rest. Shortly after reports surfaced suggesting that the actor and the agency had decided to part ways, a clarification emerged stating otherwise. A follow-up report has confirmed that Kartik remains signed with DCAA, dismissing earlier claims of a split.According to News18, the latest update states that the actor’s position within the agency has not been impacted by the underwhelming box office performance of his recent release, ‘Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri.’ The romantic drama, which hit theaters in December 2025 and featured Ananya Panday alongside Kartik, managed to collect close to Rs 50 crore domestically. Additionally, Kartik’s ongoing and future collaborations with Dharma Productions are reportedly proceeding as planned.

Inside Kartik Aaryan’s association with DCAA

Last year in November, Kartik Aaryan joined Dharma's Collab Artists Agency after many industry experts viewed this as a positive sign of the actor increasing his visibility within the industry and gaining an edge over other actors. The agency represents many other established names within the film industry, including Ananya Panday, Jahnvi Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Lakshya Lalwani, Sonam Bajwa, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Rohit Saraf, and Harshvardhan Rane.
Given the stature of both the actor and the agency, rumors of a fallout naturally drew attention. However, industry insiders note that management-related speculation often arises during transitional phases and does not always accurately reflect the reality behind closed doors. As of now, neither Kartik nor DCAA has issued an official statement addressing the rumors.

What’s next: Kartik Aaryan’s ‘Naagzilla

For his next project, Kartik will be starring in Karan Johar's 'Naagzilla,' a comedy that features creatures. In 'Naagzilla,' he will be playing the character of Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand, an Ichadaari Naag (a type of shape-shifting snake in India), which adds a very different element to his resume. Reports indicate that actor Ravi Kishan has been cast as the antagonist, but this has not yet been confirmed officially. The film 'Naagzilla' is expected to hit theaters on August 14th, 2026.
