The source told ETimes, Karisma is not part of any property-related talks.“Karisma Kapoor is not involved in any inheritance or property-related matters,” said a source close to the family. “She has no claim, nor is she seeking any share in the estate. Her only concern is the well-being and future of her children.”Karisma and Sunjay were married in 2003 and got divorced in 2016 after a rocky relationship. They have two children together, Samaira and Kiaan. The same source confirmed that the children are the rightful heirs to their father’s wealth. “The children will receive what is due to them,” the source added. “Karisma’s focus remains entirely on them.”Meanwhile, the drama surrounding the estate has taken a serious turn. Rani Kapur, Sunjay’s mother and former chairperson of Sona Comstar, has formally reached out to the UK authorities. She has asked for a full investigation into what she describes as the “unexplained circumstances” surrounding her son’s death.According to ANI, Rani Kapur filed an official criminal complaint with British police and stressed the urgency of a proper probe. Media reports also suggest that she believes something more serious may have happened. Rani claims to have “credible and concerning evidence… that suggests his (Sunjay Kapur’s) death may not have been accidental or natural, but may have involved foul play, including possibility of murder, abetment, conspiracy, fraud, and forgery.”
