John Abraham, Sharvari, and Tamannaah Bhatia starrer 'Vedaa' trailer to release on THIS date

'Vedaa', starring John Abraham, Sharvari Wagh, and Tamannaah Bhatia, is set to hit theaters on Independence Day 2024. And ahead of the big release, the team has unveiled the release date of the trailer through an announcement video on their social media platforms.

The announcement video features a powerful dialogue from John Abraham’s character in the teaser, where he declares, “Jhagadna nahi aata mujhe, sirf jung ladni aati hai” (I don’t know how to quarrel, I only know how to fight wars). The clip is packed with action sequences showcasing John and Sharvari Wagh, concluding to reveal that the trailer will be released tomorrow, August 1.

Sharvari Wagh also shared the announcement on her Instagram account, captioning it, “Jhagadne nahin, ladne aa rahe hain Vedaa aur Abhimanyu! #Vedaa trailer out tomorrow! In cinemas this Independence Day!”



In addition to the trailer announcement, Vedaa has recently received its certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). On July 25, the filmmakers had issued a statement indicating that they were awaiting the censor certificate. Subsequently, it was reported that 'Vedaa' had been certified U/A by the CBFC, without any cuts. However, the makers were advised to put a disclaimer at the beginning.


'Vedaa' is directed by Nikkhil Advani and also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Abhishek Banerjee, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Kshitij Chauhan in key roles. The film is set to compete at the box office with Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s 'Stree 2' and Akshay Kumar’s 'Khel Khel Mein', with all three movies arriving on August 15.
