Janhvi Kapoor and Shikhar Pahariya to tie the knot? Boney Kapoor denies (Exclusive)

There has been buzz that Janhvi Kapoor and her boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya may get hitched soon. Speculation suggested the couple was considering a traditional wedding later this year — likely in September or October — possibly in Jamnagar. However, when we reached out to Janhvi’s father, producer Boney Kapoor, he denied the news and said, “No, this is not true.”


Janhvi and Shikhar’s relationship has seen a quiet but steady evolution over the years. The two were first linked before Janhvi made her Bollywood debut and are believed to have dated briefly before parting ways. In recent years, however, they rekindled their relationship, with their frequent public appearances, vacations, and presence at each other’s family gatherings fuelling speculation about their reunion. Shikhar has often been seen accompanying Janhvi to intimate celebrations and even temple visits, indicating a close bond not just with her but also with her family.



During a recent conversation on a podcast, Janhvi Kapoor was asked about her views on love. Reflecting on her experience, she said, “Love looks safe. It has helped me deal with the helplessness you psychoanalyse. It’s the biggest thing. I don’t feel as helpless anymore because of his presence. And, his presence has always done that for me, in my life.”

She further spoke about the comfort and joy she finds in the relationship, adding, “It’s not just calm. When I say a safe space, I mean that I can be an infant child, I can be a kid. There’s no one else I have more fun with. I think when you find love that’s good for you, you become.. I feel I have become the truest of myself because of love.”
