Inside Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra's lavish house worth Rs 100 crore: From a private gym to sea view and kitchen garden
Shilpa Shetty and her husband, businessman, actor Raj Kundra, live in a stunning sea-facing home in Mumbai, aptly named Kinara. Spread across two floors and reportedly worth close to ₹100 crore, the house is every bit as glamorous as you’d expect. Farah Khan recently gave fans a peek inside through her YouTube vlog and the interiors are as eye-catching as the Arabian Sea views outside.
The first thing that stands out is the main door. It’s black with intricate lotus carvings in gold, and the porch outside has warm wooden flooring and a wall of mirrors. Sitting on either side of the entrance are two silver elephant statues, a symbol of protection in feng shui.
As one steps inside, there's a huge hall which is decorated with antique mirrors, wooden accents, chandeliers, and false-ceiling LED lights set the tone. Paintings line the walls, giving the space a touch of personality.
The first floor is divided into two very different living spaces. One is a formal lounge with plush designer furniture, meant for entertaining. The other is far cosier, an orange-toned family room with a gold-accent wall. A life-size wooden horse sits in one corner as a décor piece, while tall glass windows flood the space with natural light.
There’s also a sleek little bar area for hosting friends, and of course, a massive gym. Fully stocked with treadmills, strength machines, and enough room for cardio, it’s where Shilpa and Raj stick to their daily fitness routines. Shilpa often shares snippets from her workouts here on social media.
Connecting the two floors is a private lift lined with green leather walls, a quirky, luxe detail that sets the mood. The second level feels completely different from the first, almost like stepping into a palace. Ornate rugs, rich furnishings, and decorative walls create a regal vibe. The showstopper here is an indoor fountain set into a glass floor right at the entrance. There’s also a spacious living area with crisp white sofas, perfect for relaxing.
The kitchen is striking too, done up in a bold neon green and white palette. And outside, the family grows their own vegetables in a kitchen garden. Shilpa often shares clips of herself plucking brinjals and green chillies, fresh ingredients that go straight from the garden to their meals.
