Tiger Shroff’s 'Baaghi 4' fails to beats 'Baaghi 2' and 'Baaghi 3's Day 1 collection

Tiger Shroff's return to the Baaghi franchise with its fourth installment has yielded modest results, barely surpassing the opening day collection of the original 2016 film. While known for action, the film's 'A' rating and polarizing reviews have impacted its performance. Baaghi 4 faces competition from 'The Bengal Files' and 'The Conjuring: Final Rights,' potentially affecting its box office trajectory.
Tiger Shroff’s 'Baaghi 4' fails to beats 'Baaghi 2' and 'Baaghi 3's Day 1 collection
Tiger Shroff has made a name for himself as this generation’s action star, down on his luck for the past few years he returned to his beloved Baaghi franchise with it’s 4 installment in the hope of success. But Baaghi 4 just managed to beat the Day 1 number of the first installment which released in 2016 and had collected Rs 11.85 crore. Baaghi 4 on its first day has collected Rs 12 crore as per Sacnilk. The tiny margin tells a story of its own. While Tiger is known for his action amongst kids, the A certificate of the film because of its violence has kept one of his loyal fanbase away from the cinema halls. Secondly the film received very polarizing reviews with some critics loving Tiger and his action while others questioning how the film was approved in the first place.
'Baaghi 4' trailer drops- blood-soaked action explosion with Tiger Shroff and Sanjay Dutt
In terms of Day 1 collection Baaghi 4 lags behind Baaghi 2 and Baaghi 3. Baaghi 2 which saw Tiger with Disha Pataani still continues to be the biggest hit of the series which had collected Rs 25.10 on day 1 and was Tiger’s first Rs 150 crore hit. And riding on its success, part 3 was set into motion , Baaghi 3 opened to a respectable Rs 17.5 crore and ended its lifetime run at Rs 96.5 crore. It would be interesting to see how Baaghi 4 moves ahead from here as The Bengal Files directed by Vivek Agnihotri has taken a slow opening , his films from Files Trilogy usually jump on second day and The Conjuring: Last Rights has also minted Rs 18 crore and is leading the weekend race.
Baaghi 4 features Sanjay Dutt , along with former Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu who makes her Bollywood debut and Punjabi star Sonam Bajwa also steps into a prominent role.DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers in this article are compiled from our proprietary sources and diverse public data.
