I believe in rewards not awards: Shilpa

<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">MUMBAI: Shilpa Shetty says Filmfare has been fare in nominating her for best actress in a supporting role for <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Rishtey</span> as she has won another award as best actress in a comic role for the same character. <br /><br /><span style="" font-weight:="" bold="">How does it feel to be nominated for the Filmfare award?</span><br /><br />It feels good.Because I won the best actress in a comic role award at some other ceremony, and I felt it was so unfair because the role has a lot of scope and it''s not just a comic role. It was pretty challenging. You can''t slot it as a comic role, and I think Filmfare has been very fair here.<br /><br /><span style="" font-weight:="" bold="">What does Filmfare Awards mean to you?</span><br /><br />It''s an award that the film fraternity takes very seriously. I don''t want to sound boring or clichéd, but I do not believe in awards. I believe in rewards (laughs). Seriously, I''m extremely happy because I''ve got the nomination after ten years. I was nominated once before in the best supporting actress category for Baazigar which was my first film. So it''s pretty exciting.<br /><br /><span style="" font-weight:="" bold="">Who do you consider your closest competitor?</span><br /><br />I don''t think I can comment on that. I think everyone works equally hard on their roles. You can''t compare the roles either. You can''t compare Madhuri''s role of a courtesan in <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Devdas</span> to my role of a fisherwoman in <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Rishtey</span> or Kiron Kher''s role. Each role is unique and different. I think the judges are going to have a very tough time.<br /><br /><span style="" font-weight:="" bold="">Were you expecting the nomination?</span><br /><br />No, not really. I didn''t get nominated even for <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Dhadkan</span>, but now it''s reiterated my confidence and my faith in my work.<br /><br /><span style="" font-weight:="" bold="">Do you expect to win?</span><br /><br />I don''t expect to win at all.</div> </div>
