Housefull 2 actress Shazahn Padamsee ties the knot with Ashish Kanakia in an intimate wedding ceremony, first pictures surface online

Actress Shazahn Padamsee, who is known for her roles in Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji, and Housefull 2, has officially begun a new chapter in her life. The actress got married to businessman Ashish Kanakia on June 5, 2025, in a private ceremony attended by close friends and family.

While the couple has yet to release official wedding pictures, the first glimpses of the bride and groom have already surfaced online, and they look absolutely dreamy.

The wedding was a quiet, intimate affair spread over two days, with only the couple’s inner circle in attendance. According to sources, a post-wedding celebration is set to take place on June 7, 2025.

Shazahn stuns in ivory lehenga, Ashish complements in classic sherwani

For her big day, Shazahn Padamsee looked radiant in a richly embellished ivory lehenga with blush pink undertones. The outfit featured delicate embroidery and shimmering sequins, paired with a sleeveless blouse and a matching dupatta draped over her shoulder and head. The actress completed her bridal look with soft waves, dewy makeup, and traditional jewellery including a necklace, earrings, and maang teeka.

Ashish, meanwhile, opted for a classic off-white sherwani with textured embroidery, perfectly complementing the bride’s elegant ensemble.

The journey from roka to wedding

The couple’s roka ceremony was held in January 2025, and Shazahn had then shared glimpses of the event on social media. She wore a pastel pink lehenga with minimal jewellery, while Ashish donned an ivory sherwani. In an interview with ETimes, Shazahn had opened up about how special the moment was:

“Ashish's family has been so warm and welcoming that it's difficult to believe we've known each other for just two years. It was such a special day. The one person I miss the most is my dad. I wish he had been there by my side, sharing the moment with me. He would have been so happy and proud.”

How it all began

Shazahn met Ashish, son of Rupal and Rasesh Kanakia, through a mutual childhood friend. What started as casual dinner meetings soon turned into a deeper connection. The couple took their time getting to know each other before they started dating. Despite their different backgrounds, they bonded over shared values, and the rest, as they say, is history. They got engaged in November 2024.
