Here's the actor who lost a Karan Johar film post-Fawad Khan’s ‘exit’ from Bollywood

Both male and female Pakistani actors have often collaborated with Indian filmmakers and actors. However, post the Uri attacks in 2016, the scenario of creative exchange was consequently affected. As a result, Pakistani artistes were banned from Bollywood by IIMPA (Indian Motion Pictures Producers' Association).
But there was one popular small screen actor who was also hit by the decision.According to an online portal, the said actor is believed to be none other than Annup Sonii.
Reportedly, KJo had signed him for his film starring Fawad Khan and Katrina Kaif, however, with the Uri Attack, the project was put on the backburner.
The portal quoted a source saying that Anup's gait and manner resonated in 'Crime Patrol' and Karan was evidently impressed. He signed him for the role of a tough cop in the film and was looking forward to the filmmaker to make an official announcement. However, Uri Attack changed the scenario.

Earlier in an interview, Anup had reportedly averred that he was doing the same thing again and again. And he even questioned as to how long could he go on talking about murder, rape and property disputes?
He further added that monotony creeps in if one tends to do the same thing day in and day out especially if you are in TV or movies. You need to explore. You need to experiment.
The 'Kapoor & Sons' actor hasn't returned back to India post the ban.
