Team India all-rounder Hardik Pandya played the doting boyfriend as he stood by his lady love, Mahieka Sharma's side to seek blessings at Mumbai’s famed Siddhivinayak Temple. The spotting came ahead of the semifinal clash against England.


The couple, dressed in ethnic wear, was spotted heading into the temple and offering prayers. Visuals from the couple's visit showed the cricketer dressed in a kurta and Mahieka in a salwar suit, praying before the idol.

Interestingly, the clips showed the two sharing a shawl as they stood together during the rituals. Following their prayers, Hardik was seen taking off the shawl, while Mahieka was seen putting the piece of cloth back on his shoulders. The two were also seen posing for photos while some devotees at the temple reached out their hands to Hardik, who greeted them with a handshake.

Hardik and Mahieka make an appearance on Natasa's birthday

Interestingly, the couple's public appearance, coincidentally came as Hardik's ex-wife, Natasa Stankovic celebrated her 34th birthday. Sharing photos from her quiet bash, she wrote, "Hey little girl… we are doing well. As long as we stand firm on the Rock. Thank you Jesus for bringing us this far, and I know we have just started. This little one still has many dreams to fulfill."

About Hardik and Mahieka's relationship

This clip comes amid buzz that Hardik and Mahieka are getting serious in their relationship and could just be engaged. Rumours about the two making their romance official come after months of speculation, after a video showed the two at a puja ceremony, with a diamond ring visible on Mahieka's ring finger. However, she denied the rumours and said that the ring was just 'nice jewellery'.

However, the two have been out and about, with Mahieka even joining Hardik on his cricket matches, cheering from the VIP box.
