'Jersey' is a remake of a Telugu film with the same name. In the film, Shahid will be seen essaying the role of a cricketer. Helmed by Gowtham Tinnanuri and backed Allu Aravind, the film also stars Mrunal Thakur. It has been slated for August 2020 release.
