'Gul Makai': The makers drop the trailer of Reem Shaikh, Atul Kulkarni and Divya Dutta starrer

A film on Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai titled 'Gul Makai' is gearing up for its release. The film slated to hit the theatres on January 31, 2020. Now, the makers of the film have dropped the much-anticipated trailer.


In the two minutes thirty-seven seconds video, the director gave us a brief about the base of the story. It shows how a young and innocent girl became the youngest person to win the Nobel Peace Prize after surviving an assassination attempt by the Taliban. Reem Sameer Shaikh has been roped in to play the lead in the film. It also features Atul Kulkarni and Divya Dutta, who play the role of Malala's parents-Ziauddin Yousafzai and Toor Pekai Yousafzai, respectively. The film also stars Mukesh Rishi.

The film is titled as 'Gul Makai' because it is a blogging site which Malala started to raise her voice against Talibani oppression in the Swat Valley, Pakistan. Malala spoke for the right of girls, especially the right to receive a complete education, her courage and bravery gained worldwide recognition and support.

Helmed by H.E. Amjad Khan, the film is scheduled to hit the big screen on 31st January 2020.
