Govinda's nephew Vinay Anand reveals actor rejected movie and event offers; says, 'He has his own reasons'

Amidst the same, his nephew Vinay Anand opened up about how the former superstar of Bollywood rejected several films. He also revealed that he never questioned the decision of the actor. Let's learn more about it. In an interview with Hindi Rush, Govinda's nephew Vinay Anand shared that he often feels worried when the star rejects movie offers. He said, "I often get troubled myself. I've taken many film offers to him; he didn’t do them." Anand revealed that he even approached Govinda with several event offers, but the actor didn't accept them either. The nephew said, "He has his reasons."In the same interview, Vinay Anand shared that he considers Govinda as a father figure to him. And because of that equation, he never questioned the decisions of the actor.Vinay Anand said, "Although he is my maternal uncle, I have never questioned him out of respect, never asked, 'Why?' Whatever he says, I simply respond, 'Okay, sir.'"Further elaborating on their bond, Vinay Anand shared that even though he himself has starred in over 70 movies and is famous, he always behaves in a dignified manner in front of Govinda. He said, "Even today, I have fame, respect, everything, but in front of him, I remain respectful. I am the same person I was in childhood."Govinda has been away from the screen for a long time. The actor was last seen in the movie titled 'Rangeela Raja', directed by Sikander Bharti and produced by Pahlaj Nihlani. It also starred Mishika Chourasia and Anupama Agnihotri.
