Govinda reacts to Sunita Ahuja’s infidelity remarks: ‘I don’t want to embarrass anyone... be nice to all, especially newcomers’
Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja have been making headlines for the past few months amid rumours and public remarks about their personal life. Earlier, reports of an alleged divorce between the couple surfaced online, though they were later dismissed.
Sunita had also made several claims in interviews, alleging that the actor had been cheating and suggesting that he was involved with a newcomer who was allegedly blackmailing him. Govinda had responded to those claims earlier as well, thanking the newcomer for maintaining silence and saying she had “saved” him by not speaking publicly about the matter.
“I feel that when someone begins to display their pain publicly, and yet there is a certain glow on their face, you begin to wonder if the eyes are slipping from the truth. Sometimes, people may appear very honest, but their loyalty lies somewhere else. By discussing such things, I might end up embarrassing someone, and I’m not the kind of person who want to do that,” he said.
The actor also spoke about the importance of moving forward in life instead of engaging in public mudslinging.
“What I mean is that one should move ahead in life and reach the top. Do good work and keep progressing. It is never the case that insulting someone will increase another person’s respect,” Govinda said.
He further added that kindness should always be extended to everyone, especially newcomers in the industry.
“Be nice, be kind to all, especially to the newcomers who come to your home. If people come to your home, feed them well so that when they return, they give you their blessings,” he added.
She had also spoken about young women entering the film industry, alleging that some try to get close to established stars for financial support and later blackmail them. She had suggested that at this stage of life, Govinda should focus on his family, including their children, daughter Tina and son Yash, and their future.Get the latest entertainment updates from the Times of India, along with the latest Hindi movies, upcoming Hindi movies in 2026 , and Telugu movies.”
Govinda says he doesn’t want to ‘sharminda’ anyone
Now, addressing the controversy once again during a chat with Siddharth Kannan, Govinda said he prefers not to speak too much about such matters as it might embarrass someone.“I feel that when someone begins to display their pain publicly, and yet there is a certain glow on their face, you begin to wonder if the eyes are slipping from the truth. Sometimes, people may appear very honest, but their loyalty lies somewhere else. By discussing such things, I might end up embarrassing someone, and I’m not the kind of person who want to do that,” he said.

Sunita Ahuja’s earlier remarks
Sunita, in previous interviews, had described 2025 as a difficult year for her and had spoken about hearing troubling things about Govinda that affected their family life. She had also said she hopes the actor realises the value of family and understands who truly stands by him during tough times.end of article
