Indian cinema have shifted. She talked about the pre and the post-COVID era, citing that a lot of people who deserved recognition long ago are finally getting their time in the limelight.

Ameesha Patel talks about changes in the film industry
Recently, the ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’ actress conducted an AMA session on one of her social media accounts. One of her fans had asked her about what had made her smile recently. To this question, the actress had replied by talking about the film industry’s current scenario.
She had stated that a lot of things have changed in Bollywood after the pandemic, and that a lot of “non-deserving ones” are getting a reality check about their time in the industry. She also added that “all the deserving ones are getting their dues,” adding that her smile is there for good because of all of this.
The actress revisits working on ‘Race 2’
Another fan asked her about her working experience on ‘Race 2’ with Anil Kapoor. They mentioned that while the role was short, it left a massive impact on the audience. Patel also added that “did RACE 2 as a gesture as a special appearance for my fav directors of HUMRAAZ ,, mr ABBAS MUSTAAN, and I enjoyed every bit of my role in it and working with the rest of the cast was fab.”

The actress was also asked about whether she would ever want to star in a web series or not. Replying to the question, the star shared that the script would matter a lot. She stated, “Would love to work in web series as said provided the content and script justifies my presence .. can’t wait to hear a great script that will excite me to do so INSHALLAH some day soon.”
She further added that she prefers both films and web series, and that she cannot wait to work on a series when the opportunity arises. “Good films that are made with passion and not as projects are always my priority and like and yes quality content on OTT is always welcome .. can’t wait to work myself in some good quality content-based OTT show provided the script is good for me and justifies my presence,” Patel shared.Get the latest entertainment updates from the Times of India, along with the
