Fun facts you didn't know about 'Param Sundari' actress Janhvi Kapoor

The daughter of the renowned Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor is a rising Bollywood star who stands out herself with her charm, talent, and adaptability. Janhvi, who is best known for her glitzy on-screen identity in films like 'Param Sundari,' is more than just an actress; she is also a travel enthusiast, a poet in secret, and has strange obsessions like naming her favorite water bottle. Janhvi chose movies and is still very successful, even though her late mother once wanted her to become a doctor.

Secret behind her name

Janhvi Kapoor was named after a character from her mother's film 'Judaai,' which was released in February 1997, just before Janhvi Kapoor was born. The film was produced by Boney Kapoor and starred Sridevi and Anil Kapoor. According to reports, Sridevi and Boney Kapoor named their first child Janhvi because they adored the name of Urmila Matondkar's character in the movie.

She’s a closet poet

In addition to being an avid reader, she enjoys writing poetry, as Ishaan Khatter disclosed when promoting 'Dhadak.' In response, she said, "It's very therapeutic. You saw my copy of the Dhadak script—it was covered in notes." At the International Film Festival of India in Goa back in 2018, the actor also performed a poem she had written for her late mother, Sridevi.

A special name for her favorite water bottle

Fans of Janhvi Kapoor may already be aware that the actress has an obsession for her pink water bottle, Chuski. The internet also became centered on the glittery water bottle after a video of this confession, which was captured by Ishaan Khatter, went viral.

Late Sridevi wanted her to become a doctor

In an interview with Indian Express, Janhvi revealed that when she indicated her desire to work in the film industry, Sridevi was not interested in her daughter's career following in her footsteps. "She really wanted me to be a doctor when I was a kid," Janhvi recalled. "I don't know why, but I was like, 'I'm sorry, Mom, but I don't have the intellect to become a doctor.'" She even disclosed that Boney Kapoor, her father, was the one who gradually convinced Sridevi to allow their daughter to pursue a career in Bollywood.

Her favorite holiday destinations

All you need to know about Janhvi's passion for travel is to take a look at her Instagram feed. In response to a question about what she would do if she wasn't an actor during the 'Dhadak' promotional campaign, she revealed that her favorite vacation spots are Udaipur and Florence. Since childhood, she has always felt like a nomad because she accompanied her parents on their travels to various filming locations.
