Shah Rukh Khan romantic songs: Top 5 love tracks of 'King' star from ‘Tujhe Dekha To’ to ‘Chaleyan’

Shah Rukh Khan is perhaps one of the most iconic stars of Bollywood. His films and acting prowess have managed to define a whole generation, and his legacy is unmatched. Over the years, King Khan has managed to create a multifaceted profile; however, his romantic songs are remembered best. Here are some of the best and most iconic love songs from the King of Romance himself.

2/6

‘Tujhe Dekha To’ from ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’

‘Tujhe Dekha To’ is more than a love song; it became the romance anthem of the 90s at the time of its release. The ‘sarson ke khet’ and, along with SRK and Kajol’s amazing chemistry on screen, set the tone for all the romance films that came after it. Not only that, but the song and the music video defined Shah Rukh Khan’s career in the industry as he came to be known by his iconic pose of spreading his arms out as Kajol runs into his arms.

3/6

‘Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai’ from ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’

‘Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai’ is one of those simple and beautiful love songs that show that grand gestures are often not needed. The song literally translates to ‘I see god in you’, and became another iconic hit from the King Khan himself. The song has been composed by Salim–Sulaiman, while playback singer Roop Kumar Rathod lent his soulful voice.

4/6

‘Tere Liye’ from ‘Veer-Zaara’

‘Veer-Zaara’ is perhaps one of the most haunting yet touching love stories that Shah Rukh Khan has worked on. Paired with Preity Zinta, the film became another one of the actor’s most iconic and revered works. The song ‘Tere Liye’ sets the tone for the seriousness of the film and how love transcends boundaries and religion. The song has been created from the late Madan Mohan’s compositions, and has been sung by the iconic Lata Mangeshkar and Roop Kumar Rathod.

5/6

‘Yeh Ladke Haye Allah’ from ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’

Inspired by the idea of a youthful love and how you would do anything for the one you love, ‘Yeh Ladke Haye Allah’ is another iconic feature from SRK’s discography. The song acts as a playful banter between the two love interests as they sing the lyrics to one another. While they are being sarcastic with one another, the song also talks about how they are putting all of the stops to woo the other person.

6/6

‘Chaleya’ from ‘Jawaan’

This song is one of his latest additions to his long list of romantic songs to listen to. Coming from one of his latest action films, ‘Jawaan’, the song talks about going towards and choosing someone you love the most. The song has been sung by none other than Arjit Singh and Shilpa Rao, as SRK and Nayanthara grooved to the beats of the song.
