‘Freddy’ star Kartik Aaryan shares a cute selfie with his pet Katori

Kartik Aaryan’s recent film ‘Freddy’ has received appreciation from all corners after its OTT release and it seems the actor is in a happy space. At least, his latest Instagram entry sums up the mood he is in right now. Kartik shared a cute selfie with his pet dog Katori staring directly into the lens.

Earlier, Kartik had thanked everyone, i.e. the 'Janta Janardan' as he wrote an appreciation post, “On Cloud Nine Right Now !! Stoked with the humongous response of the Janta Janardan and all the reviews to #Freddy. Its not Friday, Its #FreddyDay" and added a black heart emoji.”

Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, ‘Freddy’ is a romantic thriller which introduces Kartik in a never seen avatar. In Freddy, Kartik plays a lonely, naive, nervous, honest, introvert, shy dentist among many more qualities and the character with its multiple shades is intriguing to say the least. He treats patients in a clinic in the daytime and at night turns into a murderer as he drags a body into a forest. The film also stars Alaya F and Jeniffer Piccinato in key roles.

Kartik is a busy man with a slew of films in the pipeline. He will play the lead in ‘Shehzada’ alongside Kriti Sanon. Then there is ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’, scheduled to release in the theatres on June 29, 2023. The actor will be seen opposite Kiara Advani in the film. He also has ‘Aashiqui 3’ in the lineup. Meanwhile, speculation is rife that he’s also part of ‘Hera Pheri 3’ but according to reports, the actor will only take a final call after going through the script.
