Another photo captured Captain Ram Chander Yadav together with actor Sparsh Walia, who plays his role in the movie. The third picture featured Atul Singh sitting with Havildar Nihal Singh. In his caption, Farhan expressed, "Was an honour spending an afternoon in the inspiring company of the two surviving heroes of the Battle of Rezang La, Subedar Honorary Captain Ram Chander Yadav ji & Havildar Nihal Singh ji, SM."

He also thanked and wrote, "Was special to introduce them to @sparshwaliaa & @atulsingh4199 .. our reel Charlie boys who portray them in the film. Once again, I thank them for blessing us with their permission to portray them in the film and bring their stories to the screen".
About the film
‘120 Bahadur’, directed by Razneesh Ghai and produced by Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment, tells the story of the Battle of Rezang La, where the 13th Kumaon Regiment of the Indian Army courageously defended against the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA). The movie was filmed across various locations such as Rajasthan, Ladakh, and Mumbai.
Controversy over portrayal
The film recently faced strong criticism from the Yaduvanshi (Ahir) community mahapanchayat because it showed the bravery of only one soldier. They said the film did not recognize the sacrifices of other brave soldiers. The community asked the makers to change the film’s title from ‘120 Bahadur’ to ‘Veer Ahir’. The movie will be released on November 21, 2025.
