As 'Ek Thi Dayaan' is set for an 18 April release, producer Guneet Monga and director Danis Tanovic understood the urgency for Emraan to be in Mumbai, and adjusted their schedule. Says a source, “Danis understands how the film business works and though he isn't entirely pleased about the break, he agreed to let go of Emraan to complete the patch work for 'Ek Thi Dayaan'."
Danis' producer Guneet Monga confirms: “It's (film industry) one big family for us. We are only happy to be able to do what's needed for Emraan and the team of ETD and Balaji.”
Directed by debutant Kannan Iyer, the film also stars Konkona Sen Sharma, Huma Qureshi and Kalki Koechlin.
