Disha Patani Bareilly house firing: Delhi Police detains two juveniles linked to the case - Report
Disha Patani, known for films like ‘Baaghi 2’, ‘Malang’ and ‘Ek Villain Returns’, recently faced a terrifying situation when her family home in Bareilly was attacked with gunfire. The shocking incident took place in the early hours of 12 September, when two men on a motorbike opened fire at the residence.
The case has since turned into a multi-state investigation. In the latest development, the Delhi Police Special Cell has detained two juveniles connected to the firing outside the actor’s family home.
As reported by ANI, just a day before, on 11 September, another round of firing had already taken place. This earlier incident has now been traced back to two juveniles, both of whom were detained by Delhi Police.
He further added, “Incidents like these disrupt the law and order situation and instil fear in the public, and they directly undermine the zero-tolerance policy of the UP Police and the UP Chief Minister. This incident was taken as a challenge...”
He said, “No matter how much I praise or express gratitude for the Chief Minister, it won't be enough. Today is a living example of the fear-free society he (CM Yogi) envisioned for all of Uttar Pradesh.”
So far, Disha Patani herself has not issued any statement regarding the attack on her Bareilly residence.
What happened at Disha Patani’s Bareilly house?
Reportedly, on 12 September, around 3:30 am, attackers identified as Ravindra and Arun fired shots at Patani’s home in Civil Lines, Bareilly. Both men were later linked to the Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar gang.As reported by ANI, just a day before, on 11 September, another round of firing had already taken place. This earlier incident has now been traced back to two juveniles, both of whom were detained by Delhi Police.

Disha’s father, Jagdish Patani, who is a retired police officer, praised the swift response from the state government. Father expresses satisfaction with police action
Jagdish Patani also responded to the killing of the accused, showing confidence in the police. He said, “Such incidents happen, and action is also taken. I am satisfied with the security, and all the officials are with me. I am satisfied with the swift action in the matter.”So far, Disha Patani herself has not issued any statement regarding the attack on her Bareilly residence.
