Ranveer Singh joined the film fraternity in bidding a final goodbye to legendary singer
Asha Bhosle, who passed away on April 12 at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. The singer had been admitted a day earlier and was undergoing treatment in the critical care unit. As her last rites are set to take place at Shivaji Park crematorium with full state honours, the actor arrived to pay his respects and honour her enduring legacy.
Soon after the news of her passing, Ranveer Singh took to Instagram Stories to express his grief. Sharing a throwback picture with the iconic singer, he wrote, “Irreplaceable, incomparable. #AshaBhosle,” capturing the sentiment of millions who grew up listening to her voice.

In a video that has surfaced online, Ranveer Singh is seen meeting Zanai Bhosle, the singer’s granddaughter. The actor warmly embraced her and offered comfort as she broke down, reflecting the emotional atmosphere at the funeral and the deep sense of loss felt by the family and well-wishers.
