The film has reportedly sold its digital rights for a huge amount, making it one of the biggest OTT deals in recent times.According to News18, JioHotstar has acquired the digital rights of ‘Dhurandhar 2’ for a whopping Rs 150 crore, placing it among the biggest OTT deals in recent years. This is a significant jump from the first part, whose streaming rights Netflix picked up for Rs 85 crore. ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is expected to make its OTT debut soon.‘Kalki 2898 AD’, starring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, is still one of the biggest OTT deals in Indian cinema. The sci-fi film was a massive hit and had fans across the country. Netflix bought the Hindi version for Rs 175 crore, while Amazon Prime Video picked up the Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam versions for Rs 200 crore, making it one of the largest digital deals Indian cinema has ever seen.‘RRR’, SS Rajamouli's massive hit featuring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, made headlines when the Zee group bought its digital and satellite rights for a whopping Rs 325 crore, setting a record at that time. ‘KGF Chapter 2’, which starred Yash and broke box office records in 2022, also made it to the top of the list with Amazon Prime Video acquiring it for Rs 320 crore. The rest of the biggest OTT deals include ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ at Rs 275 crore, ‘Adipurush’ at Rs 200 crore, ‘Salaar Part 1’ at Rs 160 crore, and ‘Devara Part 1’ and ‘Dhurandhar 2’ completing the list.After much waiting and speculation, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is finally coming to OTT. The film will stream on two different platforms: Netflix for international viewers and JioHotstar for audiences in India. This split streaming plan has caught a lot of attention from fans.
