Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh reunited after starring together in the first installment of the franchise. As per the reports, 'De De Pyaar De 2' will be out on streaming platforms in early January 2026. If reports are to be believed, January 9 is the date for its digital premiere. However, some reports even suggested that the movie might arrive on OTT at the end of the first month of 2026.


The reports further stated that the film would premiere on Netflix. However, an official confirmation on the same is yet to be made.

The story of the film starts where the first installment ended. Ajay Devgn returns as Ashish, while Rakul reprises her role of Ayesha. In this part, the male lead's character is confident to take his relationship with the female lead to the next level. As they plan for the future, they face hurdles from Ayesha's parents. That's what establishes the base plot of the movie.

Apart from Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh, the film also stars R. Madhavan, Gautami Kapoor, Jaaved Jaaferi, Meezaan Zafri, and Ishita Dutta in pivotal roles.

Directed by Anshul Sharma, the film was released in theaters on November 14, 2025. The movie went on to earn Rs 111 crore at the worldwide box office, as per the Sacnilk report. In India, the film collected Rs 74.21 crore.

The movie was made on a reported budget of Rs 150 crore.
