Chirag Paswan may get into politics at one stage

His debut film, One and Only alongside Kangna Ranaut is releasing later this year. “I always had the ambition of becoming a star. But what people don’t know is that I am also an engineer,” he said in a telephonic interview. On the three-year limbo, he clarifies, “ The film just got on production last year. I don’t understand what the fuss is all about,” he shares. However, he prefers to keep mum about the astronomical sum his co-star Kangna Ranaut charged. Reportedly, Kangna charged a staggering Rs 5 crore for the film. “ For that, you should speak to my producer. My paycheck is sufficient enough,” he said. Ask whether the Paswans financed the film and he retorts, “ If my father had to finance my film, I would not have roped in a small production, I would have gone for the top producers”. Chirag will be seen as an aspiring tennis player and will be seen romancing three ladies. For his role, the actpr hit the gum and beefed up. On the steamy shoot with Kangna, he says, “Yes, I was little nervous but Kangna put me at ease. She is a senior actor and very professional”. But movies are clearly not a long-term career for the junior Paswan. “I may get into politics at one stage,” he said.
