Prakash Saini’s next, Chal Bhaag, was inspired by some anti-social elements the director had met during his two-month stay in Delhi.
The action comedy revolves around three boys — a chain snatcher, an externed youth and a gully ka gunda — who meet in a lock-up. There, they hear about a fake encounter being planned on them. The story reveals how they come out of the situation, only to get chased by a gang of hoodlums and cops.

“All our main actors are from theatre. We have shot in real locations in Old Delhi. At times, we even shot with hidden cameras,” says Saini. The film, made under the banner of Alimoh Films, has Deepak Dobriyal in the lead role along with two newcomers, Varun Mehra and Tarun Bajaj.
Chal Bhaag, produced by Mohammad Zaheer Mehdi, Fatima Zaheer Mehdi, Ali Mehdi and Tamkanat Ali Mehdi, releases today.
