Boney Kapoor's doctor reveals Sanjay Kapoor was jealous of him after hair transplant: 'He had it done somewhere else'

Boney Kapoor has opened up about his striking physical transformation, including his decision to undergo a hair transplant and achieve significant weight loss. In a recent interview, the celebrated producer revealed intriguing aspects of his makeover journey, including the luxurious care he received during the process. At the same time, Boney’s doctor recently shared that his younger brother, Sanjay Kapoor, was a little jealous of him after his hair transplantation.




During an interview with ABP Live, Boney’s hair transplant specialist shared an interesting anecdote about the producer’s younger brother, Sanjay Kapoor. The doctor revealed that when he met Sanjay at a party, he was very talkative about Boney’s hair transplantation and a bit saddened about his own. “He told me, ‘You have done such great work with Boney’s hair transplant.’ He had got it done from somewhere else, so he was quite jealous about it,” the doctor stated.

In the same interview, Boney shared that the hair transplant experience was memorable and almost festive. Recounting the process, he said it was like a three-day picnic for him and that the doctors were entertaining. “They were dancing, singing, and playing my favourite songs. I had people giving me massages there. They played me all my favourite Shammi Kapoor songs. It seemed effortless,” Boney shared.

He further discussed how his late wife, Sridevi, motivated him to focus on his physical transformation, starting with weight loss before addressing his hair. Initially hesitant due to the belief that baldness brought luck, drawing inspiration from Yash Chopra, Boney eventually opted for a hair transplant. The procedure involved planting 6,000 hairs in just three days.
