'Bhooth Bangla is better than Bhool Bhulaiyaa’: Paresh Rawal makes bold claim on Priyadarshan-Akshay Kumar’s horror comedy
Paresh Rawal says Priyadarshan's 'Bhooth Bangla' (starring Akshay Kumar) tops Bhool Bhulaiyaa with deeper emotions, shot at Chomu Palace. Loves reuniting with "Priyan ji." Features Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Rajpal Yadav. Balaji production releases April 17.
Priyadarshan's latest horror-comedy ‘Bhooth Bangla’, featuring Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal, is being likened to his iconic ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ but the veteran actor promises something even better. During a recent interview, Paresh emphasized that the film retains the director's classic touch while also delivering a more profound emotional impact. Rawls confidently declared ‘Bhooth Bangla’ superior to ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’.

Paresh Rawal on ‘Bhooth Bangla’

Talking to Money Control, Paresh Rawal opened up about the film saying, “I think Bhool Bhulaiyaa se kai achchi film aayi hai, it is a well shot film, itni behatreen shoot ki hai ye film Priyan ji logon ko bahut maza ayega. Aur ye kahani mein emotional hook bahut achcha hai. And it has Tabu, Jishu Sengupta, Mithila. Assembly badi achchi hai. Off course since we have shot it in Chomu Palace (Jaipur) so memory taza hoti hai Bhool Bhulaiyaa ki. It is a good film". (I think many good films have come out of Bhool Bhulaiyaa. It is a well shot film. It has been shot so well that Priyan ji and everyone will enjoy it. And the emotional hook in this story is very good. And it has Tabu, Jishu Sengupta, Mithila. Assembly is very good. Off course since we have shot it in Chomu Palace (Jaipur) so the memory of Bhool Bhulaiyaa is refreshed. It is a good film.)

Woh bhi kaafi arse baad aye hain. He is also returning to Hindi films after 6 years, he was busy with Malayalam films churning out great films there. So bahut hi maza aya hai".
