'Baankey Ki Crazy Baraat' song to feature whacky moments from real weddings

The makers of Baankey Ki Crazy Baraat have come up with an interesting way to promote their movie.
In view of the fact that this is a family comedy about a proxy wedding, the producers are running a contest on social networking sites, wherein participants are required to post whacky moments from their weddings. The selected pictures and videos will be featured in the promotional song.

The film that has Satyajeet Dubey, Tia Bajpai, Sanjay Mishra, Rakesh Bedi, Vijay Raaz and Rajpal Yadav, is a comic caper for viewers of all ages.This Aijaz Khan directorial also boasts of peppy dance numbers and some catchy tunes, composed by Vijayaa Shanker.

Asked about the innovative campaign, producer Anita Mani says, “The film is a fun-filled family entertainer, and hence we want it to reach a wider audience. The idea behind engaging people with such an interactive and fun activity, is to involve and excite them. We have all had some crazy incidents or moments while attending weddings. The objective of getting people to post funny moments from their weddings to be included in the crazy baraat video will be a way to get them to revisit those memories.”
The director and his cast also feel that this innovative promotion will work for the film. Baankey Ki Crazy Baraat, produced by AM Feel Good Films, releases August 7.
