'Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha' actor Shahrukh Sadri on his experience working with Ajay Devgn and Neeraj Pandey: Exclusive details inside

Neeraj Pandey's upcoming thriller love story, 'Auron Mein Kaha Dum Tha', is all set to hit the screens on August 2, and promotions for the film are in full swing. The makers today released a romantic number from the film, 'Ae Dil Zara', which is sure to tug at your heartstrings. The Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer film tells the story of Krishna and Vasudha's love story, which spans 23 years from 2000 to 2023.

One of the prominent characters in the film is Jamshed, played by Shahrukh Sadri. The actor last worked on the Kartik Aaryan starrer 'Freddy' and also featured alongside Amitabh Bachchan in 'Cheeni Kum'.

Shahrukh portrays a Parsi Bawa, Jamshed, who owns a restaurant where Krishna and Vasudha's love story blooms. ETimes contacted Shahrukh to learn more about his experience working with Neeraj Pandey and Ajay Devgn. "Working with the entire cast was a brilliant experience. Neeraj Pandey Ji is a gem of a person. He has an outstanding vision, and he made me feel comfortable working on the sets," he shared.

Recalling his scene with Ajay Devgn, Sadri further adds, "I remember a scene with Ajay Devgn, which is very emotional. It takes place when Krishna returns after 23 years in jail. That was a very touching scene, where I had to hug and kiss Ajay Devgn on his return. I was feeling a bit awkward doing such scene with Ajay, wondering what he would think about me. But Neeraj Ji was so cool; he said, "Do whatever you want to do since you are in character." That gave me the confidence to do that scene aptly. The scene has come out very nicely, and I am looking forward to it."

"Ajay Devgn, on the other hand, is a very sorted person. He comes on the sets, does his work, and leaves. If we ask him anything, he will reply with a smile. Very kind-hearted person," Shahrukh said when asked about his experience working with Ajay for the first time.

Shantanu Maheshwari plays the younger Krishna, while Saiee Manjrekar plays the younger Tabu. The film also stars Jummy Shergill and Sayaji Shinde in prominent roles. Moreover, Shahrukh is currently doing a TV show, titled, 'Pushpa Impossible' on SAB TV and also featured in webseries namely, Criminal Justice, Verdict, Inside edge, Morden Love, to name a few.
