Aryan Khan arrested by the NCB in a drugs case

Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan’s son Aryan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau on October 3, 2021, after drugs were seized from a cruise party he was attending. He was sent to judicial custody for 14 days. Aryan’s lawyer defended him stating that no contraband was found on him but the NCB lawyer argued that there were probing Aryan’s alleged foreign contacts, based on WhatsApp chats.

Sara Ali Khan questioned by the NCB

After Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise in June 2020, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had jumped into action probing a drugs case in connection to SSR. While Rhea Chakraborty was taken into custody, the investigating agency had summoned Sara Ali Khan too. The actress was called in for questioning in September last year. Sara Ali Khan’s name had reportedly surfaced during the Rhea’s interrogation by the NCB.

Sooraj Pancholi charged in Jiah Khan’s suicide case

Sooraj Pancholi was charged with abetment to suicide under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code in Jiah Khan’s death case. He spent 20 days in jail in June 2013, post which he was granted bail. In August this year, the trial was moved to the CBI Court and the Pancholis were hopeful that the trial would finally get expedited and everyone will find due closure. Jiah Khan, who passed away on June 3, 2013, had named Sooraj in her alleged six-page suicide note leading to the cops taking Sooraj into custody.

Rahul Bhatt questioned in 26/11 terrorist attacks

Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt's son Rahul Bhatt's name was involved in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks case. According to a report in TOI, Rahul met accused-turned approver Davil Headley through a gym trailer in 2006. He was reportedly befriended by Headley during his visits to Mumbai prior to the attacks. Rahul was often questioned by the investigating agency probing the case. Speaking about the case in 2010, Rahul had told PTI, "Did I know Headley? The answer is a yes and a no. The David Headley that I knew then was a different man and the David who has now emerged is a different man... the absolute monster.
