Anupam Kher remembers late friend Satish Kaushik on birth anniversary; to celebrate day with 'music, love and laughter'

"Today on Baisakhi you would have turned 67," wrote actor Anupam Kher as he remembered his late friend and actor Satish Kaushik on his birth anniversary.
In a special Twitter post, the veteran actor shared a clip of some of the happy moments he shared with his dear friend over their 48-year friendship. "My dear friend Satish Kaushik," He began and said, "Wish you a very happy birthday!"

"Today on Baisakhi you would have turned 67.But for 48 years of your life I had the privilege of celebrating your birthday. So I have decided that this evening we will try to celebrate your birthday in a grand way," he said and revealed that he will host a grand party.

"The seat with Shashi and Vanshika will be vacant. Come my friend and watch us celebrate #SatishKaushikNight with #Music #Love and #Laughter," he concluded.
Anupam was the first celebrity to confirm the news of Satish's passing on March 8. The actor has since been keeping his dear friend's memory alive by posting photos, videos and remembering their time together.

Kher previously shared a clip of himself at Kaushik's prayer meet and wrote, "Ja! Tujhe maaf kiya! Mujhe akela chhod kar jaane ke liye (go, I forgive you for leaving me alone)! I will surely find you in people’s laughter! But will miss our friendship on a day to day basis!! Alvida mere dost! Tera favourite gana lagaya hai background mein! Tu bhi kya yaad karega (goodbye my friend, you will remember how I have put your favourite song in the background)!"
