Animal to release in USA on November 30 - Exclusive

Ranbir Kapoor is known for his chocolate boy looks and his choice of coming of age films. So when he decided to go dark with Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal, everyone was surprised. But its pre-teaser and teaser shocked everyone, no one anticipated this level of aggression in Ranbir and everyone is waiting to see more of him in the film. The film is all set to release on 1st December in India where it would be clashing Vicky Kaushal and Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur which is based on the life of India’s first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw who led India to victory against Pakistan in the 1971 war.


ETimes has now learnt that Animal would be first released in the United States of America. The makers of the film are opening up premiere shows for the film on 30th November in huge numbers in the USA. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu and the makers are in talks to have a very wide release right from the premiere night. A source reveals that given the genre of the film and the way audiences have been lapping up the action genre, the makers are very confident about the prospects of the film not only in India but also across the globe. Coming to action genre,Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo: Bloody Sweet has already beaten the likes of Jailer, Jawan and Pathaan to become the highest advance booking film of the year.

Animal was earlier supposed to release on August 11 where it was clashing with Gadar 2 but because of production issues the makers decided to postpone the film to December 1. The makers just released the first song of the film ‘ Hua Main’ that has been sung by Raghav Chaitanya and Pritam. The song is composed by Jam8 and the lyrics are written by Manoj Muntashir Shukla.
