Sandeep Reddy Vanga, there is no one like you. The beats in this film are shocking, surprising, unreal and fully loaded...Goosebumps and iconic imagery for days.
Bobby Deol, my most favourite - outstanding. You are just magic every time you are on screen. And the one and only Anil Kapoor - smashing it as always. Such an inspiration. Congratulations to the entire cast - phenomenal performances that truly make the whole world come to life. Triptii Dimri, Shakti Kapoor. You all have hit it out of the park and right into the animal park.
Animal is INTERNATIONAL. @imvangasandeep is a mad genius. Ranbir, @iamRashmika and the rest of cast and crew, take a bow.
@iamRashmika best till date. Loved the confrontation scene in the second half. Terrifically portrayed. @imvangasandeep, only you could imagine such sequences. Took time to come out of that trance.
Ranbir Kapoor... THE MASS SUPERSTAR in you has been born with #ANIMAL. The performance will be cherished for a lifetime.
Ranbir plays my son in the film and Sandeep always maintained that in the whole family, Jyoti probably understood him best, and she stands up for him in front of his father (AK). As the two clashed, I wanted to play this dynamic with quiet strength and the boys were totally on board with this.
Ranbir Kapoor is incredibly comfortable in front of the camera and shows great respect for his fellow actors. If someone on set is in pain or injured, he's always there, offering support and showing consideration. He understands that the scene relies on the collective effort of all actors involved. Instead of retreating to his own vanity or preferred spot, he remains present and engaged. He recognises that the scene's success depends on the well-being of all actors. He's also remarkably spontaneous, asking numerous questions and engaging in meaningful discussions. His demeanour on set is consistently relaxed, contributing to a harmonious working environment.
Prices of Animal is similar to all the other big films we've had. We have variable ticket prices across cinemas, across shows. In certain cinemas we've got differential pricing and this could be a local decision by the cinema team. But the ticket price of 'Animal' is the same as 'Jawan', 'Pathaan' and 'Gadar 2'.
The advance booking of 'Animal' is so good. No cinema is foolish enough to give the same number of shows to both the films. Obviously, the demand for Animal is 10 times, 12 times, 15 times more than that. So they will get more shows. I noticed that the ticket prices of Animal at INOX and PVR are up to Rs 2,400 and Rs 2,500 also. Everything is governed by the demand. So the fact that the ticket price is high, means that the craze for 'Animal' is outstanding and that reflects in the price. But this comparison is wrong because it's like comparing 'namkeen' with 'meetha'.
