The biggest wedding of the year is here! Business tycoon Anant Ambani, the youngest son of billionare Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, is all set to tie the knot with Radhika Merchant, daughter of Viren A. Merchant and Shaila Viren Merchant, this year in July. Their pre-wedding festivities have already kickstarted with the traditional 'Anna Seva', in villages around Reliance’s Jamnagar township. Anant and Radhika have been dating for quite some time, and are finally taking a step ahead in their relationship. The duo were first seen together somewhere in 2018, leading to speculation that they were dating and would soon tie the knot. Since then, Radhika has been a prominent member of the Ambani household and has been a key part of all family festivities. According to reports, the pre-wedding celebrations are scheduled to take place from March 1-3 in Jamnagar, Gujarat, with around 1,000 guests expected to attend the festivities. The event will be theme based - On Day 1, the theme is Evening in Everland" (March 1st), where guests are requested to wear evening cocktail attire. Day 2 will feature the theme "A Walk on the Wildside" (March 2nd), with themes like Mela Rouge for traditional activities with a jungle fever dress code. Day 3 will host two events titled "Tusker Trails and Hashtakshar" (March 3rd), where guests will enjoy the scenic beauty of Jamnagar on the trail, in traditional attire. As per reports, the detailed itinerary that has been handed out to guests, a ‘Evening in Everland-themed’ cocktail party will be organised on Friday. The following day, they will be also taken on a tour of the Reliance animal rescue centre and during the evening, guests will dress in a ‘desi romance style’ for a ‘Mela Rogue’ party hosted by the couple. On day two, the guests will be taken on a ‘Tusker Trail’, for which the dress code is ‘casual chic’. The final event is a traditional ‘hastakshar’ ceremony, for which the guests will dress in sherwanis and lehengas. The ceremony will be held at the Jamnagar Township Temple complex. Anant and Radhika got engaged in a traditional ceremony in January 2023 at the family's residence Antilia in Mumbai.

20 female chefs and 1 male chef hired
As per reports, the chefs have been roped in from the Jardin Hotel and out of these 21 chefs, there is just one male chef, while the other 20 are women. The Director of Jardin Hotel shared with a media house that more than 2500 dishes will be prepared during these 3-day pre-wedding festivities and will include Japanese, Thai, Mexican and Parsi Thali along with Pan Asian cuisine.Further specifying the details, it was disclosed by Sharma that there’ll be 75 types of dishes for breakfast, more than 225 types of dishes for lunch, 275 types of dishes for dinner, and 85 types of items will be included in the midnight meal. This Midnight meal will be served from 12 midnight to 4 am, and preparations have been made in such a way that not a single item will be repeated.
