Amitabh Bachchan says 'Why Not' needs no justification; Shares thoughtful blog note
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan once again shared a deeply introspective note, reflecting on purpose, individuality, and the quiet strength of self-belief.
Big B took to his blog, where he spoke about "a delayed presence" and "uncertain timing," while acknowledging the unwavering support of well-wishers that helps preserve what truly matters.
"... a delayed presence .. an uncertain timing , and the glory of the well wishers, keeps what needs to be kept (sic)...." he wrote.
Addressing the often-asked question about his relentless drive, Bachchan wrote that when asked "why do you do it," his simple response remains "why not," adding that there is little room for argument beyond that.
"They ask 'why do you do it ' and I say 'why not' .. there is no further argument after this (sic)," Big B mentioned.
The cine icon further reflected that the reasons behind one's actions are known only to the inner self, and while explanations may exist, they often become part of endless debate rather than truth.
"Why one does what he does is known by his inner .. any demonstration or a justifiable response, could well be in the correctness of the debate .. BUT .. in the end it is 'you' and none other .. for, at this age you want all that is needed be near you .. your pen your computer your phone your daily routines .. and YOU .. !!"
The thespian on Tuesday reflected on the overwhelming surge of information in today's world, noting that the line between truth and falsehood is increasingly blurred, often getting lost in the noise of external influences, leaving individuals in a constant search for clarity.
On the acting front, he is currently shooting for the sequel to "Kalki 2898 AD".
Talking about Kalki 2898 AD, the 2024 epic mythological science fiction film by Nag Ashwin, he said: "Kalki 2 begun the work .. and shall ever cherish the love and affection of anticipated presence on the Sunday .. but hopefully shall be with all this coming Sunday .. My love."
Kalki 2898 AD stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. Inspired by Hindu scriptures, the film serves as the first instalment in the planned Kalki Cinematic Universe.
