Alia Bhatt once revealed why 'Jee Le Zaraa' with Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif is delayed: ‘Kaafi difficult…’
The much-anticipated film 'Jee Le Zaraa', announced in 2021 by Farhan Akhtar, promised to bring Bollywood’s leading ladies, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Katrina Kaif, together in a fun-filled road trip adventure. Fans were thrilled at the thought of seeing this trio on screen. However, over the years, delays and speculation about the film’s future have kept everyone guessing.
Alia also revealed why progress has been slow, "Logistically, kaafi difficult ho raha tha to get all the dates together but I think agar sabke zehan mein hai aur intent mein hain toh woh film ban jayegi (It is difficult to get the dates of the key players together, but everyone has it in their mind that the film has to be made)."
Akhtar added that a lot of work has already been done. He mentioned that he had finished all the location scouts and recorded the music, and that most of the preparation was already done. According to him, it was just a matter of time before they could resume work, and while he could not comment on the cast anymore, he assured that the film would definitely happen.

The film was set to be a celebration of friendship, adventure, and Bollywood glamour. From the very beginning, the combination of these three powerhouse actors created huge excitement among audiences. Back in October 2024, Alia Bhatt spoke to The Lallantop about the film. She said. "We have not scheduled shooting. Definitely, hogi! (It will happen for sure). Recently, Farhan Akhtar addressed questions about the film on the YouTube channel 'Our Stupid Reactions'. He said, "I would hate to say that it’s shelved. What I will say is that it’s put on a backburner. It is a film that will happen. I don’t know when it will be. But it’s too delicious as a script."Akhtar added that a lot of work has already been done.
